Kongde Hotel sits atop a high ridge across the valley from Namche Bazaar This beautiful and little explored region of the Khumbu sits off the main trail trail to Everest Base Camp. It is a very new unexplored trekking destination within the popular Khumbu Valley of Everest region.

The newly opened trekking route runs from Phakding on the main Lukla Namche trail to the Sherpa village Thame via the Kongde ridge this is one of the most dramatically beautiful trekking routes of not only Khumbu but of the entire Himalayas.
